3:58: Nabokov's agent, Don Meehan confirms that Nabokov is refusing to report to the Isles at this time. Snow remains hopeful, saying that he is waiting to speak with the player. He also says they have a flight booked for him out of Oakland for Sunday.
If he truly declines to report, the options are to either put him on waivers again or to suspend him.
12:10 PM: The Islanders have claimed goalie Evgeni Nabokov off waivers from Detroit. Now we wait to see if the reports. More to come.
